I'm running it in x64 but I forgot what I did.

Maybe just installed java x64, used the swt 64 bit and exe in 64bits.

Well I think it's working on java 6 but anyway java 6 is not supported officially by oracle anymore.
So the minimum is java 7 but I would advice you to use Java 8

but I know also that they have implemented proguard on Vuze Remote for android
So I must think they have implemented it for Vuze Torrent Downloader too
Which makes the tasks of reverse engineering MUCH MUCH harder.
