Ports get firewalled after starting shu mod

Why is it that after i open azureus after installing shu mod, my downloads would not start and it says that the NAT is firewalled? What is the login information required at the shu section of options?

Are youo behind a router or a firewall. In that case you should forward your ports.

Could also be helpful to read the faq ...

i have already forwarded the ports previously when using azureus alone, but as soon as i start it with shu mod, it tells me its firewalled, the ports still forwarded.

me having the same problem recently. no problem with azureus official, i can download files well but cant download with shu mod.
always firewalled tcp and udp ports were forwarded, ive used configuration wizard and it seems tcp and udp ports work fine. i also turned upnp off from tools-options-plugins-upnp-enable upnp. checked azureuswiki to solve this. ...nothing changed. (those ports are forwarded just for azureus and are between 49125-65535)
any suggestions?

try to delete all the rules of azureus in your firewall softwer, and after than make a new rules. it's just an idea. N.

I'm having the same problem. When I use the azureus NAt/firewall test it passes, but the client shows that I am firewalled and I am not getting any incoming connections.

I have also this problem. original Azureus works fine.

(1) what SOFTWARE firewall(s) are you using?
(2) describe your antivirus/antimalware setup
(3) what version of Sun JRE are you using?

Same thing happened to me. When you already had Azureus installed and then you added the SHU files window's firewall auto blocks it... Go to Start MEnu>Control Panel open "Security Center" click Windows Firewall click the middle tab called "exceptions under "programs and Services" find "Azureus" select it, click delete. Run Azureus, popup will ask if you wanna "keep blocking" or Unblock... Click unblock... That should do it, or in the Exceptions tab, just click "add Program" and select Azureus from there... Hope this helps.

Windows Firewall

Still puzzled why people use that XP Windows Firewall ... doesn't stop any outbound traffic so IMHO it's useless and you're far better of using a real Firewall. I guess on the other hand it's better than using nothing at all. I've also heard that the Vista Firewall is an improved version of the XP-firewall but haven't tested it yet.

Anyway...i prefer a 'real' firewal (Sygate for me) and a hardware Firewall through my router.
