Update official Azureus build needed?

I read the faq but i didn't locate anything about what i'm about to ask.Is it required to update the official azureus before applying a shu mod update?Or what plainly need to be done, is copy the new .jar and .properties files on the directory?

I only just do the second part,but i'm wondering if its ever needed to update azureus officially before aplying any new version of the mod.

You copy the files into the azureus directory only if you are using the version the files were built for.
The version will be listed in the thread title and is normally easily available from the azureus sourceforge.

I understand what you're saying but For example, i'm using Abuze Mod 3.1.1.1_B05.220 but there's no 3.1.1.1 available,i have 3.1.1.0 which seems to be the latest.

there is no 3.1.1.1 available because it's still in beta stage ... that's why it says 3.1.1.1_BXX ... so when the beta stage is no more, the final version becomes 3.1.1.1
